Homemade Spa Style Water

If one more person tells me to drink more water!

Who does not know it is healthier to drink water than 8 diet drinks a day? But I have never liked the taste of guzzling water all day.

Sorry. Not my thing. But eventually I realized I had to find a way to make it work for me.

Have you ever been to a spa and they have the chilled exotic looking and tasting water that makes you feel like you are sipping on some royal spring?

Well, I decided by trial and error to try and recreate flavors that would entice my palate into drinking more water.

The following are some successful flavors I have enjoyed that allowed me to ween myself from my diet drink addiction and drink more water.

Some of my favorite recipes:

Cherries

Cucumbers and mint

Oranges and lemons

Some mixtures I don’t really like:

Kiwi and strawberry, it gets mushy and little bits are in each sip.

Rosemary, dill or most other herbs, makes me hungry…

Three great options: oranges and lemons, cherries, or cucumbers and mint
Cucumber and Mint
Cherry concentrate
